Who'd be a goalie?

I'm a big hockey fan and follower of the Bracknell Bees who play in the English Premier Ice Hockey League. My favourite players are always the goalies.

This shot was taken at a Bees homes game during the 2009/2010 season... the goalie is Stephen Wall of the Peterborough Phantoms and a former Bee.

I am still having difficulty getting some really good action shots at hockey games... but I'll keep trying!

Big Bird

This is a Sandhill Crane... the photos were taken in Florida.

The locals call them Whooping Cranes... they are tame and wander the streets seeking chunks of bread from tourists!

I was pleased with the way these shots came out. They were taken with my current camera, a Panasonic Lumix FZ38.

Snow Dog

This is Toby the terrible... sorry Terrier.

I don't think he had ever seen snow before this day on 2010.

Rings and Things...

This is a photo that I took at work. I had been to a photography club and was set the task of getting a shot under the subject of "Rings and things"... I couldn't resist the combination of the cop with the donuts!

The subject is a friend and colleague of mine.
